EuroHeedfest 12: The 12th Annual European Guided By Voices appreciation day
Peckham Audio
Saturday May 11th

We are back to celebrate all things Robert Pollard, GBV and associated acts at a new venue and are delighted to be welcoming back, for his first performance at the event in ten years, BAFTA award winning actor & director, star of House of the Dragon and Riding The Low frontman, Paddy Considine!

Paddy is a huge GBV fan and will be performing a personally selected set of bangers with EuroHeedfest house band Band Of Pricks.

Band Of Pricks will also be performing their customary set of hits and crowd favourites.

There will also be the return of the live band karaoke, this year we will be playing classic album Bee Thousand in full in its 30th year of existence, with YOU as the singer!  Please email joinmyfreakinband[at]hotmail.co.uk to register interest in performing.

We are also very excited to announce the EuroHeedfest debut of Joseph Hooligan, fronted by Joseph Considine, who like his father, who he performed with at the GBV40 event in Dayton, Ohio in 2023, is a huge talent and a massive GBV nut.  The set will be a full band set which Joseph describes as "an all-out Bob set full of the deep cuts, anthems and epics that hold a special place in my history as a fan and musician".

Finally, we are very much hoping to welcome back a band who have rocked the EuroHeedfest stage at the last few editions - Cocks of the Block featuring Carl and Bjorn from Razorlight - though they cannot currently confirm definite participation due to potential commitments with Razorlight.

A couple of things to note:

Due to the likelihood of increased demand for tickets for this year's event, we have had to move from our traditional home of the Stags Head this year as the venue capacity simply would have been too small to accommodate everyone wishing to attend.  Peckham Audio, the venue for this year's event, is a superb venue for live music, but does not have a dedicated outdoor space, which I realise EuroHeedfest veterans will have become accustomed to.  For those wishing to renew the tradition of a mid-afternoon meet, we encourage everyone to head to nearby bar Four Quarters for a pre-gig drink and chat, where there are retro arcade machines galore for people to enjoy.  We also have exclusive use of the Four Quarters basement from 3:00pm to 5:00pm where we will hold the acoustic open mic section this year.  Entry is free to Four Quarters.  Please make sure you get down to Peckham Audio as soon after doors at 5:00pm as possible though, as the Bee Thousand karaoke will start at 5:30pm sharp.

Finally, we must stress that this is a community and fan-run event and in purchasing a ticket you are purchasing a ticket for the event as a whole.  In the unlikely event any individual act has to pull out, the event will still be going ahead and we do not have the provision to offer refunds.

Thank you.  The club is open for another year.  Let's rock!
